Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Granite trucks equipped with LED headlights. The LED headlights may fail.

Risk: Loss of headlight illumination can reduce visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the LED headlights, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed December 17, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated on or before May 15. Owners may contact Mack's customer service at 1-800-866-1177. SEAT BELTS:FRONT:ANCHORAGE

Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2020-2025 Mack MD, 2019-2025 Anthem, Granite, 2024 MD Electric, and 2025 Pinnacle trucks equipped with a passenger bench seat. The seat belt anchorage bracket may be improperly welded. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."

Risk: An improperly welded seat belt anchorage bracket can detach during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will install a reinforcement plate, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed January 21, 2026. Owners may contact Mack's customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2020-2025 Anthem, Granite, TerraPro and Pinnacle vehicles, equipped with Bendix EC80 Advanced Electronic Control Units (ECU). Electrical noise and low signal to the power line carrier may cause the ECU to incorrectly process commands or stop working.

Risk: Safety systems that depend on the ECU (Automatic Traction Control, ABS, Electronic Stability Control, Active Cruise Control, and Collison Mitigation System) may have diminished or lost functionality, increasing the risk of a crash.

Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2019-2025 GR and 2018 GU Granite vehicles equipped with non-DOT tested tires. The tires may not have been DOT tested and confirmed to be sufficient for the vehicles. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 119, "New Pneumatic Tires - Other Than Passenger Cars."

Risk: Insufficient tires can fail, increasing the risk of a crash.

Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Anthem, Granite, and Pinnacle vehicles equipped with RollTek driver's seat assemblies. The seat pedestal and seat belt attachment may have been improperly tightened.

Risk: An improperly tightened seat pedestal and seat belt attachment may not restrain the occupant as intended, increasing their risk of injury during a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace and tighten the seat pedestal and seat belt attachment bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 16, 2024. The Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) listed on the vehicle certification label is incorrect, which can allow the vehicle to be overloaded. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."

Risk: An overloaded vehicle can increase the risk of a crash.

Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Granite vehicles. The air tanks have an insufficient volume of air for the brake system. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121, "Air Brake Systems."

Risk: Insufficient air volume can reduce braking performance and increase the risk of a crash.

Mack Trucks, Inc (Mack) is recalling certain 2024 Granite vehicles. The bearing journals may not be fully seated in the steering knuckle assembly, preventing the proper installation of the wheel end hub assembly.

Risk: An improperly installed wheel end hub assembly can leak oil, causing the axle spindles to loosen or fracture and increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Hendrickson will inspect and replace the steering knuckle assembly as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 2, 2024. Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2023-2024 GR, AN, LR, and Terrapro vehicles. The engine may not return to idle within 2 seconds if the accelerator pedal position sensor becomes disconnected. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 124, "Accelerator Control Systems."

Risk: An engine that does not return to idle quickly enough can cause a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2024 Granite and TerraPro vehicles. The rear lifting bracket that attaches to the engine cylinder head may be insufficiently secured, which can allow it to detach.

Risk: A rear lifting bracket that detaches while the engine is being lifted can result in the engine falling or swinging, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the flanged stud in the rear lifting bracket, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 9, 2023.
