ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:ALTERNATOR/GENERATOR/REGULATOR
Storyteller Overland, LLC (Storyteller) is recalling certain 2024-2026 GXV Hilt vehicles. The secondary alternator pulley may fail, resulting in a loss of power brakes and power steering.
Risk: An unexpected loss of power brakes increases the distance required to stop. A loss of power steering increases the amount of effort needed to control the vehicle. Both situations may increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: The remedy is currently under development. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 23, 2026. Owners may contact Storyteller customer service at 1-888-999-7442. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

Storyteller Overland, LLC (Storyteller) is recalling certain 2024-2026 GXV Hilt recreational vehicles. The entry door position switch may not make adequate contact to read that the door is closed, which allows the steps to deploy unexpectedly.
Risk: Steps extending while in transit increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will install a ground signal to the door switch circuit, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 18, 2026. Owners may contact Storyteller customer service at 1-888-999-7442. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

Storyteller Overland, LLC (Storyteller) is recalling certain 2024-2026 GXV Hilt recreational vehicles. The auxiliary power system wires may have been improperly. The wires may be damaged by contact with the intake manifold.
Risk: Damaged wire may overheat and short, increasing the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect, replace, and secure the wires as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 8, 2025. Owners may contact Storyteller customer service at 1-888-999-7442. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

Storyteller Overland, LLC (Storyteller Overland) is recalling certain 2023-2024 GXV HILT vehicles. The metal frames within the housing portion of the vehicle may be improperly grounded.
Risk: An improperly grounded metal frame can cause electric shock, increasing the risk of injury.

Storyteller Overland, LLC (Storyteller Overland) is recalling certain 2024 GXV Hilt vehicles. The spare tire mount may not be secured properly, allowing the spare tire to detach from the vehicle.
Risk: A detached spare tire can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
