Orange EV

SEATS

Orange EV (OEV) is recalling certain 2022-2023 T-Series Pure Electric Terminal Trucks, 2023-2025 e-TRIEVER, and 2023-2026 HUSK-e terminal trucks. The optional foldaway training seat may fail. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 207, "Seating Systems" and 210, Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."

Risk: A seat that fails may not properly restraining an occupant during a crash, increasing risk of injury.

Remedy: Owners are advised to limit the use of the the training seat until repairs have been completed. The remedy is currently under development. Interim owner notification letters are expected to be mailed by April 24, 2026. Another notice will be sent once the remedy becomes available. EXTERIOR LIGHTING:HAZARD FLASHING WARNING LIGHTS

Orange EV (OEV) is recalling certain 2017-2024 T-Series, 2023-2025 e-TRIEVER, and HUSK-e terminal trucks. The hazard warning lights may turn off when the ignition is in the 'Off' position. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Risk: Hazard lights that do not remain on cannot warn other drivers of a disabled vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: OEV field service will install a new hazard light wire harness and update the software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed by November 24, 2025. STEERING:CRITICAL FASTENERS

Orange EV is recalling certain 2023-2025 HUSK-e, e-TRIEVER, and 2022-2024 T-Series trucks. The bolts securing the upper steering shaft clamp may have been improperly tightened.

Risk: The loose bolts can cause steering system components to separate, resulting in loss of steering control and increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Orange EV service will replace the upper steering shaft clamp bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 15, 2025. Owners may contact Orange EV customer service at 1-866-688-5223. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

EXTERIOR LIGHTING:BACK UP LIGHTS, TRAILER HITCHES

Orange EV is recalling certain 2024 HUSK-e, 2023-2025 e-TRIEVER, and 2017-2024 T-Series trucks. The pintle hook partially blocks the center of the backup lights. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Risk: Obstructed backup lights can reduce the vehicle's visibility to pedestrians or other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Orange EV service will replace the rear passenger taillight, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 15, 2025. Owners may contact Orange EV customer service at 1-866-688-5223. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

Orange EV is recalling certain 2023-2024 HUSK-e, 2023-2025 e-TRIEVER, and 2017-2024 T-Series trucks. The front side marker lights may be missing, and the passenger front side reflectors may be in the incorrect location. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Risk: Missing or incorrectly positioned lights and reflectors can reduce the trailers visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Owners are advised to limit on-road use while operating without a trailer until the remedy is available. Orange EV will install front side marker lights and relocate the front reflectors, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 15, 2025. EXTERIOR LIGHTING, STRUCTURE:FRAME AND MEMBERS

Orange EV (OEV) is recalling certain 2023-2024 HUSK-e, 2023-2025 e-TRIEVERs, and 2018-2023 T-Series trucks built with frame extenders. The frame extenders obstruct the rear turn signals, reverse, brake, and taillights. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Risk: Obstructed rear lights can reduce the vehicle's visibility to pedestrians or other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Owners are advised to limit on-road use while operating without a trailer until the remedy is completed. OEV will relocate the rear taillights and replace the original with combination lights, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters explaining the safety risk were mailed February 21, 2025. A second notice will be sent once the remedy is available. Owners may contact OEV customer service at 1-866-688-5223. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

EQUIPMENT:OTHER:OWNERS/SERVICE/OTHER MANUAL

Orange EV (OEV) is recalling certain 2017-2024 T-Series and 2023-2024 e-TRIEVER terminal trucks. The Emergency Response Guide (ERG), operator, maintenance, and service manuals incorrectly state that the emergency stop button in the vehicle cab will shut off and lock out the high voltage system.

Risk: Incorrect lockout instructions can mislead the operator into thinking the high voltage system is shut down, increasing the risk of injury by electrical shock.

Remedy: OEV will provide corrected ERG, operator, and maintenance manuals and add additional warning labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 20, 2024.
