Blue Bird Bus Company (Blue Bird) is recalling certain 2021-2026 Vision school buses. The brake interlock software may unintentionally activate the parking brake at any driving speed.
Risk: A bus that stops suddenly without warning, increases the risk of a crash.

Blue Bird Body Company (Blue Bird) is recalling certain 2020-2024 All American and 2021-2024 Vision transit buses. The emergency exit label operating instructions lettering is too small and may be difficult to read. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 217, "Bus Emergency Exits and Window Retention and Release."
Risk: An emergency exit label that is difficult to read can prevent or delay the use of the emergency exit, increasing the risk of injury.

The convertible seats may have been incorrectly installed, which can result in an unsecured seat. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."
Risk: An unsecured seat may not adequately restrain an occupant, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

Blue Bird Body Company (Blue Bird) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Vision transit buses equipped with a 7.3L gasoline engine. The transmission shift cable may have insufficient clearance from the gasoline fuel supply line at the left rear corner of the engine, which can result in a fuel leak.
Risk: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and reroute the transmission cable, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 9, 2023. Blue Bird Body Company (Blue Bird) is recalling certain 2018-2023 Blue Bird Vision transit buses equipped with Roush fuel return lines included in GEN 4 and GEN 5 LPG Conversion Systems that were installed on vehicles sold or registered in Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Washington D.C., West Virginia, and Wisconsin. The zinc-plating on the fuel return line may break away when contacted by road debris, causing two dissimilar metals on the fuel line to contact each other and corrode.
Risk: A corroded fuel line can leak fuel, increasing the risk of a fire.

Blue Bird Body Company (Blue Bird) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Vision transit buses. The fuel supply line was incorrectly routed, allowing it to chafe against a bolt head, which can damage the line and create a fuel leak.
Risk: A fuel leak increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will reroute the fuel line, and replace the fuel line if any damage is found, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on June 21, 2022. A retainer was not properly seated in the SC-3 single check valve and may not provide source air isolation when pressure is applied. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121, "Air Brake System."
Risk: Unintended spring brake application may occur, increasing the risk of a crash.
