FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:FUEL PUMP

Bombardier Recreational Products, Inc. (Bombardier) is recalling certain 2019-2023 Can-Am Ryker motorcycles. The impeller may swell, causing the high-pressure fuel pump to fail.

Risk: A fuel pump failure can cause an engine stall while driving, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel pump as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 27, 2024. Owners may contact Bombardier customer service at 1-888-272-9222. Bombardier's number for this recall is Bulletin 2023-10. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING

Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) is recalling certain 2019-2023 Ryker motorcycles. The position light and flasher electrical harnesses in the front fenders may loosen and rub on the tire, leading to a short circuit and resulting in an engine stall while driving.

Risk: An engine stall while driving increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will secure the two harnesses, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 9, 2022. Owners may contact Bombardier customer service at 1-888-272-9222. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. (Bombardier) is recalling certain 2020 Can-Am Ryker motorcycles. The front wheels may have been improperly installed, possibly resulting in their separation from the motorcycle.

Risk: Improper installation can allow the front wheel to separate from the motorcycle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Bombardier will notify owners, and dealers will check the tightness of the front wheel and reinstall the red locking clip. The recall began November 6, 2020. Owners may contact Bombardier customer service at 1-888-272-9222. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
