2023 Braun Ram Promaster: federal recalls on file

Braun Corporation (Braun) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Ram ProMaster vehicles. The installed window may have the wrong type of glass for an emergency exit. As such, these vehicles fails to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 226, "Ejection Mitigation."

Risk: A noncompliant emergency exit can increase the risk of ejection and injury during a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the window, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 13, 2026. Owners may contact Braun's customer service at 1-800-488-0359. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)

BACK OVER PREVENTION: SENSING SYSTEM: CAMERA

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2022-2025 Ram ProMaster vehicles. A software error in the security gateway module may cause the rearview camera image not to display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."

Risk: A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will update the security gateway module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 12, 2025. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 40C. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
