Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2023-2026 Service Body, Aerial Device, Pressure Digger, Spray Truck, and Digger Derrick vehicles. The low tire pressure rating printed on the final stage certification label is incorrect.

Risk: An incorrect pressure rating may lead to underinflated tires, increasing the risk of a tire blowout or a crash.

Remedy: Altec will inspect and replace the incorrect certification label, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 8, 2026. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING:POWER DISTRIBUTION MODULE/IPDM

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2021-2025 Digger Derrick and 2021-2025 AM Series Aerial Device vehicles. The chassis engine may start unintentionally due to a missing diode in the Altec power distribution module.

Risk: An engine that starts unexpectedly increases the risk of injury to anyone near the engine compartment during maintenance operations.

Remedy: Altec will provide instructions to inspect the power distribution module for a diode, and provide a repair kit as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 27, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3281. Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Aerial Device and Digger Derrick vehicles. The electronic taillight module harness may have inadequate circuit protection.

Risk: Wiring without adequate protection may short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire.

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Altec Aerial Device, and Digger Derrick vehicles. The chassis ignition circuit may be overloaded, which can result in a blown fuse and cause an engine shutdown.

Risk: An engine shutdown increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Altec will replace the hydraulic tank heater relay, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 29, 2025. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec Industries Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2011-2025 Aerial Device, Digger Derrick, and 2022-2025 Service Body vehicles. The cable step wire rope assembly may be improperly secured, which can allow the cable entry step to detach from the vehicle.

Risk: A cable step that fails during use increases the risk of injury.

Remedy: Altec will provide owners with instructions to inspect the cable crimps. If the cables are improperly crimped, Altec will provide instructions and a kit to replace the wire rope assemblies. Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Aerial Device, and Digger Derrick vehicles. The front winch bumper may be secured with incorrect bolts, which can cause the bumper to detach from the vehicle.

Risk: A front bumper that detaches can become a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash. In addition, the bolts can fail suddenly during winch operation, increasing the risk of injury.
