Ring Power Corporation (Ring Power) is recalling certain 2019-2026 Terex C4000, C5000, C6000, and General 65 digger derrick trucks. An insufficient weld on the plate weldment may crack, causing the retaining pin to separate.
Risk: Without a retaining pin, the pole guide arm may fall, increasing the risk of injury to people around the truck.
Remedy: Ring Power will inspect and replace the weldment plate as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 2026. Risk: Without a retaining pin, the pole guide arm may fall, increasing the risk of injury to people around the truck.
Remedy: Owners will inspect the plate weldment for any cracks or abnormal welds. Dealers or owners will replace the plate weldment as necessary, free of charge. Terex South Dakota, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2022 C4000, C5000, C6000, C7000, General, and Trans TL vehicles. A seam in the boom structure may have been improperly welded, causing the weld to crack.
Risk: A cracked weld may lead to the boom failing, increasing the risk of an injury.
Remedy: Dealers will replace or repair the boom, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on February 8, 2023. Owners may contact Terex's customer service at 1-605-882-4000. Terex's number for this recall is SN715. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
