ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:PROPULSION SYSTEM:INVERTER, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:PROPULSION SYSTEM:TRACTION MOTOR:CONTROLLER:SOFTWARE

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2024 Ram Promaster Battery Electric (BEV) vehicles. Incorrect software in the motor control processor module (MCPA) may cause a loss of drive power.

Risk: A loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will update the MCPA software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 31, 2024. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 99B. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
