Orange EV

SEATS

Orange EV (OEV) is recalling certain 2022-2023 T-Series Pure Electric Terminal Trucks, 2023-2025 e-TRIEVER, and 2023-2026 HUSK-e terminal trucks. The optional foldaway training seat may fail. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 207, "Seating Systems" and 210, Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."

Risk: A seat that fails may not properly restraining an occupant during a crash, increasing risk of injury.

Remedy: Owners are advised to limit the use of the the training seat until repairs have been completed. The remedy is currently under development. Interim owner notification letters are expected to be mailed by April 24, 2026. Another notice will be sent once the remedy becomes available. EXTERIOR LIGHTING:HAZARD FLASHING WARNING LIGHTS

Orange EV (OEV) is recalling certain 2017-2024 T-Series, 2023-2025 e-TRIEVER, and HUSK-e terminal trucks. The hazard warning lights may turn off when the ignition is in the 'Off' position. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Risk: Hazard lights that do not remain on cannot warn other drivers of a disabled vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: OEV field service will install a new hazard light wire harness and update the software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed by November 24, 2025. POWER TRAIN:DRIVELINE:DRIVESHAFT

Orange EV (OEV) is recalling certain 2024-2025 HUSK-e Tandem terminal trucks. The driveshaft may contact and damage the passenger side brake chamber or brake chamber bracket.

Risk: Damaged brake components may cause a reduction of brake performance and unexpected activation of the emergency braking system, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: OEV field service will inspect and replace the driveshaft and brake chamber components as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 1, 2025. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:PROPULSION SYSTEM:CRITICAL FASTENERS

Orange EV (OEV) is recalling certain 2023-2025 HUSK-e terminal trucks previously remedied under Recall 25V367 (2025-SRC-04). The wrong size washer was installed in the thermal fuse bolted joint during the previous repair.

Risk: The incorrect washer can cause the bus bar connection to loosen or open, resulting in electrical arcing and increasing the risk of a fire.

Remedy: OEV will install the correctly sized washer, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 4, 2025. Owners may contact OEV customer service at 1-866-688-5223. OEV's number for this recall is 2025-SRC-05. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

Orange EV (OEV) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Husk-e terminal trucks. The high voltage short circuit protection system may have an inadequate fuse.

Risk: In the event of a short, the fuse may open too slowly or not at all, increasing the risk of a fire.

STEERING:CRITICAL FASTENERS

Orange EV is recalling certain 2023-2025 HUSK-e, e-TRIEVER, and 2022-2024 T-Series trucks. The bolts securing the upper steering shaft clamp may have been improperly tightened.

Risk: The loose bolts can cause steering system components to separate, resulting in loss of steering control and increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Orange EV service will replace the upper steering shaft clamp bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 15, 2025. Owners may contact Orange EV customer service at 1-866-688-5223. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
