WHEELS:LUGS/NUTS/BOLTS/STUDS

ST Engineering Hackney, Inc. (STE Hackney) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Kidron Refrigerated Trailers. The wheel lug nuts may not be tightened properly.

Risk: Improperly tightened lug nuts may result in a loose or detached wheel, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: STE hackney will provide instructions to inspect and tighten the wheel lug nuts as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 28, 2024. Owners may contact STE Hackney customer service at 1-252-946-6521. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

SUSPENSION:CRITICAL FASTENERS

ST Engineering Hackney, Inc. (STE Hackney) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Kidron refrigerated trailers. The suspension pivot bolt may not have been properly tightened during the alignment process on certain Hendrickson suspensions with Quick-Align systems.

Risk: Improperly tightened pivot bolts may fail, causing the suspension and the attached axle to separate from the trailer, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect, and if necessary, tighten the suspension pivot bolt, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 1, 2023. Owners may contact STE Hackney customer service at 1-252-946-6521. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
