STRUCTURE:BODY:HATCHBACK/LIFTGATE:HINGE AND ATTACHMENTS

US Truck Body Co., Inc. (US Truck Body) is recalling certain 2025 Isuzu NPR HD vehicles equipped with Waltco MDV series liftgates. The deck pins may break, causing the liftgate platform to fall.

Risk: A liftgate that falls unexpectedly increases the risk of injury.

Remedy: US Truck Body will work with the supplier, Hiab, to inspect the platform bushings and hydraulic systems and replace the deck pins, free of charge. All affected vehicles are expected to be repair by August 27, 2026. Owners may contact US Truck Body customer service at 1-800-443-0843. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING

Isuzu Motors Limited (Isuzu) is recalling certain 2025-2027 Chevrolet Low Cab Forward 5500XD, 4500XD, Isuzu NRR, NPR HD, NPR XD, 2025-2026 Chevrolet Low Cab Forward 4500HD, and Isuzu NRR EV vehicles. The chassis and/or cab wire harnesses may chafe against metal components, leading to harness failure.

Risk: Harness failure may cause an engine stall or the brake lights and parking brake to fail, increasing the risk of a crash. Damaged wires may also melt, increasing the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will add additional fasteners, inspect and replace the harnesses as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 24, 2026. Owners may contact Isuzu customer service at 1-866-441-9638. Isuzu's number for this recall is V2602. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
