The body panel joint may have been attached without sufficient epoxy coverage. As such these vehicle fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 221, "School Bus Body Joint Strength."

Risk: The body panels may separate during a crash, reducing structural integrity and increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and repair the interior vertical joint as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 18, 2026. Risk: A brake fluid leak can extend the distance required to stop, increasing the risk of a crash.
