2025 Heil Side Loader Garbage Truck: federal recalls on file

The Heil Co. (Heil) is recalling certain 2025-2026 side loader garbage trucks equipped with certain HH Technologies ReVamp high voltage cabinets, with part number 372-9585. Water may enter an improperly sealed high voltage cabinet and cause component failure or a short circuit.

Risk: Electrical component failure may lead to an unexpected vehicle shutdown, increasing the risk of a crash. In addition, an electrical short increases the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Heil will install a protective enclosure, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 5, 2026. Owners may contact Heil's customer service at 1-866-275-4345. Heil's number for this recall is PN-26-354 . The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

FUEL SYSTEM, OTHER

The Heil Co. (Heil) is recalling certain 2023-2025 side loader garbage trucks equipped with certain Agility Fuel Solutions CNG Fuel Systems, using part number 10300466. The manual cylinder valves may develop stress corrosion cracks in the bottom plugged port, causing a leak.

Risk: A natural gas leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Agility will replace the valves, free of charge. All affected garbage trucks were repaired by August 14, 2025. Owners may contact Agility's customer service at 1-844-474-7400 or Heil's customer service at 1-866-275-4345. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
