STRUCTURE:BODY:HATCHBACK/LIFTGATE:HINGE AND ATTACHMENTS

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2011, 2016-2019, 2021-2024 Rockport Work Trucks. The rear liftgate may have been installed without a U-bolt on the driver and passenger side, which can allow the liftgate to fall to the ground when loaded.

Risk: A liftgate that falls unexpectedly increases the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the U-bolts, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 17, 2024. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-522-7599. Forest River's number for this recall is 65-1700. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INTEGRATED TRAILER BRAKE CONTROL

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Rockport work trucks. The trailer brake controller may have been incorrectly wired.

Risk: An incorrectly wired brake controller can result in a loss of brake function, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will rewire the trailer brake controller, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 24, 2023. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-327-2392. Forest River's number for this recall is 29-1639. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
