Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2024-2026 ACX (Xpeditor) and DC (Legend) vehicles. The tie rod clamp may have been improperly secured.
Risk: The tie rod clamp can separate from the vehicle, resulting in a loss of steering control and increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Autocar will inspect and secure or repair the tie rod clamp as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 5, 2025. Risk: A steering wheel separation may result in a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2023-2024 DC (Legend) vehicles. The air tanks have an insufficient volume of air for the brake system. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121, "Air Brake Systems."
Risk: Insufficient air volume can reduce brake function, extending the distance required to stop and increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace or add additional air tanks as necessary, free of charge. All vehicles were repaired by May 23, 2025. Risk: Warning lights that do not illuminate when the ignition switch is in the OFF position can reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
