Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2022-2024 AC series cranes. The crane outrigger shoes may have been improperly manufactured, which can cause them to crack and fail under load, reducing the cranes stability.
Risk: A loss of stability during operation could cause the crane to fall, increasing the risk of an injury.
Remedy: Altec will replace the outrigger shoes, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 20, 2024. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3194. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
