EQUIPMENT, EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER

Vermeer Manufacturing Company (Vermeer) is recalling certain 2021 BC900XL, BC1000XL, and BC1200XL brush chippers. The chipper discharge chute may separate, and fall off the trailer.

Risk: A separated chipper discharge chute can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of injury or crash.

Remedy: Dealers will install a field remedy kit, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on October 21, 2021. Owners may contact Vermeer's customer service at 1-800-829-0051 ext. 7060. Vermeer's number for this recall is IK4126. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
