ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING, EXTERIOR LIGHTING

Shyft Group (Shyft) is recalling certain 2015-2025 Utilimaster Truck Body vehicles. The signal converter may fail, which can cause the brake lights and turn signals to become inoperative.

Risk: Inoperative turn signals and brake lights can fail to alert other road users to the driver's intentions to turn or stop, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Shyft will inspect and repair the signal converter connecters as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 7, 2025. Owners may contact Shyft customer service at 1-800-237-7806. Shyft's number for this recall is 25-16. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

Spartan Motors, Inc.

EXTERIOR LIGHTING

Spartan Motors, Inc. (Spartan) is recalling certain 2020-2021 FLT Utilimaster Truck Body vehicles. The license plate lamp may be installed in the incorrect position and at an incorrect angle, causing the plate to not be properly illuminated. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Risk: The incorrectly positioned license plate lamp may cause confusion to other drivers on the road, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Spartan will notify owners, and will replace the license plate lamp, free of charge. The recall began May 5, 2020. Owners may contact Spartan customer service at 1-800-543-5008. Spartan's number for this recall is 20-05. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
