STEERING:COLUMN

Terex Advance Mixer, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Front Discharge Mixer Commander and Charger vehicles. Improper installation or tightening of the steering shaft may cause it to come loose from the steering column and result in a loss of steering control.

Risk: A loss of steering control can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Terex will reinstall the steering shaft, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 22, 2023. Owners may contact Terex customer service at 1-800-678-5961. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

STEERING:CRITICAL FASTENERS

Terex Advance Mixer, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2022 Front Discharge Mixer Commander vehicles. The front-drive steer axle fasteners may not have been tightened sufficiently and could come loose, resulting in a complete separation of the axle assembly joints.

Risk: Steer axle assembly separation can result in a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Meritor will inspect and repair the axle assembly joints, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 18, 2023. Owners may contact Terex customer service at 1-800-678-5961. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECU/ECM)

Terex Advance Mixer, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2022 Front Discharge Mixer Commander vehicles equipped with Cummins diesel engines. The engine control module (ECM) may experience an internal short-circuit, which can result in an unexpected engine shut down.

Risk: An unexpected engine shut down can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Cummins will replace the ECM, free of charge. Cummins launched the remedy on September 26, 2022. Owners may contact Terex's customer service at 1-800-678-5961. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL:FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM:FUEL RAIL

Terex Advance Mixer, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2016-2022 Front Discharge Mixer trucks. The fuel tubes between the fuel rail and the injectors for cylinders four, five, and six may fatigue and crack, which can result in a high pressure fuel leak.

Risk: A high pressure fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of fire.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the fuel tubes, and install vibration isolators, free of charge. Owners may contact Terex customer service at 1-800-678-5961. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
