Terex South Dakota, Inc.

EQUIPMENT

Terex South Dakota, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2009-2016 TCX60/85 and SML65/90 aerial devices. The rod eyes on the 25ft lift cylinders may fail prematurely.

Risk: If the rod eye fails the lift boom will drift down. The remaining cylinder may not support the boom fully and will slowly leak down. These scenarios increase the risk of an injury.

Remedy: Terex will notify owners, and dealers will replace the rod eyes and shims, free of charge. The recall began April 9, 2020. Owners may contact Terex customer service at 1-605-882-4000. Terex's number for this recall is SN684. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

Terex South Dakota, Inc.

EQUIPMENT

Terex South Dakota (TSD) is recalling certain model year 2009-2014 Terex TC, and TCX hybrid electric trucks manufactured June 8, 2009, to July 30, 2014 and equipped with aerial devices. The affected vehicles may be improperly wired, and as a result, the aerial boom may move unintentionally when the hydraulic tools are being used.

Risk: Inadvertent boom movement can cause the platform to strike objects in the work area, increasing the risk of injury to the operator.

Remedy: TSD will notify owners, and dealers will install a diode and alter the wiring to correct the issue, free of charge. The recall began on November 20, 2016. Owners may contact TSD customer service at 1-800-982-8975. TSD's number for this recall is SN631. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
