SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:FOUNDATION COMPONENTS:DISC:CALIPER

Suzuki Motor of America, Inc. (Suzuki) is recalling certain model year 2016 GSX-S1000 motorcycles manufactured July 8, 2015, to July 29, 2015, GSX-S1000A motorcycles manufactured July 10, 2015, to August 24, 2015 and, and GSX-S1000FA motorcycles manufactured July 21, 2015, to July 27, 2015. The affected motorcycles may leak brake fluid from the front brake calipers.

Risk: If the front brake calipers leak brake fluid, braking performance would be reduced, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Suzuki has notified owners, and dealers will replace the front brake calipers, free of charge. The recall began on December 1, 2015. Owners may contact Suzuki customer service at 1-714-572-1490. Suzuki's number for this recall is 2A48. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
