Sutphen Corporation

FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL:DELIVERY:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS

Sutphen Corporation (Sutphen) is recalling certain 2021 fire trucks equipped with Cummins L9 diesel engines with part number D563027BX03. The remote fuel filter hoses may separate from the fitting, causing a fuel leak and an engine stall.

Risk: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire. An engine stall increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Cummins dealers will replace the fuel hoses, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 7, 2026. Owners may contact Cummins customer service at 1-800-286-6467 or Sutphen's customer service at 1-614-889-1005. Cummins number for this recall is C7311. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

Sutphen Corporation (Sutphen) is recalling certain 2020-2021 Fire Trucks. A fuel leak may occur from the hoses between the fuel pump and remote fuel filter head.

Risk: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the fuel hoses, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a schedule for recall notification. Owners may contact Sutphen customer service at 1-614-889-1005. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
