Porsche Cars North America, Inc.

STRUCTURE:BODY

Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2020 911 Carrera S, 2021 Taycan Turbo, and 2022 911 Carrera vehicles. Due to a process error in the car body production line, various welds may be missing from the vehicle body.

Risk: In the event of a crash, incomplete body welding may not provide adequate protection to occupants, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and repair the welds, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 30, 2023. Owners may contact Porsche's customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is APA4. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
