SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:POWER ASSIST:HYDRAULIC

Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2017-2019 Rogue Hybrid vehicles. The hydraulic brake booster assembly may overheat internally, resulting in a loss of power brake assist. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 135, "Light Vehicle Brake Systems."

Risk: A loss of power brake assist can extend the distance required to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the hydraulic brake booster supply unit, free of charge. Interim Owner notification letters were mailed September 22, 2022. A second letter will be mailed October 31, 2022. Owners may contact Nissan's customer service at 1-800-867-7669. Nissan's number for this recall is R22A6. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
