STEERING:LINKAGES:TIE ROD ASSEMBLY

Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2025 LR, Granite, and Pinnacle vehicles equipped with Composilite EXS20 steerable lift axle suspension assemblies. The tie rod assembly ball stud could have been improperly heat treated and can fail.

Risk: The ball stud can separate from the vehicle becoming a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the tie rod end assemblies as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 15, 2024. Owners may contact Mack customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is SC0468. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING:FUSES AND CIRCUIT BREAKERS

Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2024-2025 LR natural gas vehicles. The methane detector may be inoperative due to a missing fuse.

Risk: An inoperative methane detector can fail to detect a gas leak, increasing the risk of a fire or injury.

Remedy: Dealers will install a fuse, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 10, 2024. Owners may contact Mack customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is SC0461. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
