SEAT BELTS:FRONT:WARNING LIGHT/DEVICES

Jaguar Land Rover North America LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2026 Land Rover Range Rover Velar, Range Rover Sport, and Range Rover vehicles. The seat belt warning system may not activate the audible warning chime as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to conform with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."

Risk: A seat belt chime that fails to alert occupants that they are unbuckled can increase the risk of injury during a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the audio amplifier, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed July 10, 2026. Additional letters will be mailed once the remedy is available. Owners may contact Land Rover's customer service at 800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is D105. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
