Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2024 Cougar, 2025-2026 Alpine, 2026 Montana, and Walkabout recreational trailers. The shock bolts may have been incorrectly tightened.

Risk: Loose shock bolts may cause a loss of vehicle stability, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the shock bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 1, 2026. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 26-483. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2026 Montana fifth wheel recreational trailers. The underbelly may be improperly secured, causing it to detach.

Risk: A detached underbelly can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will install C-channels and I-beams to secure the underbelly, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 15, 2026. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 26-482. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning May 28, 2026. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2026 Montana fifth wheel recreational trailers. The 12-volt and 120-volt wiring may be improperly secured. The wires may be pinched and damaged when the bedroom slide-out moves.

Risk: Damaged wiring may cause an electrical fault, increasing the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will properly secure the wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 14, 2026. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369.
