ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL (ESC), SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:POWER ASSIST:ELECTRIC:CONTROL MODULE:SOFTWARE

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer and Jeep Grand Wagoneer L vehicles. The brake system control module software may cause a loss of electronic stability control and a loss of electronic brake assist. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 126, "Electronic Stability Control Systems" and 135, "Light Vehicle Brake Systems."

Risk: A loss of electronic stability control and/or electronic brake assist increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will update the brake system control module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 30, 2026. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 50D. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will become searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning July 9, 2026. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)

BACK OVER PREVENTION: SENSING SYSTEM: CAMERA

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer and Jeep Grand Wagoneer L vehicles. The front camera wiring harness may not be connected properly, which can cause the rearview camera image not to display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."

Risk: A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and reconnect the wiring harness, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 9, 2026. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 47D. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov on May 28, 2026. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
