SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:SUPPLY:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS, SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:SUPPLY:QUICK RELEASE VALVE
International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2026-2027 HV vehicles. The service brake may take longer than expected to release. As such, these vehicles may fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121, "Air Brake Systems."
Risk: A delayed brake release can increase the risk of crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the 5/8â air line with a 3/4â air line, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 10, 2026. Owners may contact International's customer service at 1-800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 26506. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
