Great Dane Trailers (Great Dane) is recalling certain 2026 Champion dry van trailers. The deck pins may break, resulting in the liftgate platform falling.

Risk: A liftgate that falls unexpectedly increases the risk of injury.

Remedy: Great Dane will work with Hiab to inspect and replace the deck pins and bushing kits as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 10, 2026. Owners may contact Great Dane's customer service at 1-877-369-3493. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

Great Dane Trailers (Great Dane) is recalling certain 2026 Champion dry van trailers. The roll-up door operator bolts may not have been properly tightened and increasing the force required to open or close the door.

Risk: A roll-up door that sticks and requires greater force to open or close may move too fast, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will tighten the operator bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 15, 2025. Owners may contact Great Dane customer service at 1-877-369-3493. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

Great Dane Trailers (Great Dane) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Champion Dry Van trailers equipped with Bridgestone R123 Ecopia tires, size 295/75R22.5. The tires may have been manufactured incorrectly with one of the three stabilizer ply belts applied in the wrong orientation. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 119, "New pneumatic tires - other than passenger cars."

Risk: Incorrect belt orientation may cause the tires to fail and increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Bridgestone (BATO) dealers will replace the tires, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 27, 2025. Owners may contact BATO customer service at 1-800-847-3272 or Great Dane customer service at 1-877-369-3493. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
