Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Imagine travel trailers. The installed safety chains are underrated for the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR).

Risk: Underrated chains can allow the trailer to detach from the tow vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the safety chains, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 19, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is 910069. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER:120/240 VAC ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:RECEPTACLE

Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2026 Imagine travel trailers. The outlet cover may have been improperly secured, allowing screws to contact wiring.

Risk: Contact with wiring may cause a short circuit or an electrical arc, increasing the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and repair the screws as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letter are expected to be mailed August 17, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is 910064. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
