Bison Coach, LLC (Bison) is recalling certain model year 2016-2018 Bison Horse Trailers, models Laredo, Premiere, Ranger, Silverado, Trail Boss and Trail Hand. These trailers contain incorrect Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) information on the Certification label. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."

Risk: If a trailer does not have the correct label, the users may overload the trailer, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Bison will notify owners and provide them with a corrected label, free of charge. The recall began on June 14, 2017. Owners may contact Bison customer service at 1-574-658-4161. Bison's number for this recall is 9011. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:12V/24V/48V BATTERY:CABLES

Bison Coach, LLC (Bison) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 Premiere, Silverado, Laredo, Ranger, Trail Hand, and Trail Boss gooseneck horse trailers. The affected trailers do not have an inline fuse installed on the battery cable.

Risk: In the event of an electrical short circuit, the battery wiring could overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Bison has notified owners, and dealers will install a 30-amp inline fuse on the battery cable, free of charge. The recall began on September 15, 2016. Owners may contact Bison customer service at 1-574-658-4161. Bison's number for this recall is 9010. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
