ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:PROPULSION SYSTEM:INVERTER, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2022-2026 Service Body vehicles. The inverter output AC wiring may be routed too tightly in the electrical receptacle enclosure and become damaged, possibly resulting in a short circuit.

Risk: A short may cause the inverter AC wiring to overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Altec will install an electrical receptacle enclosure extension, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 28, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3340. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2023-2026 Service Body, Aerial Device, Pressure Digger, Spray Truck, and Digger Derrick vehicles. The low tire pressure rating printed on the final stage certification label is incorrect.

Risk: An incorrect pressure rating may lead to underinflated tires, increasing the risk of a tire blowout or a crash.

Remedy: Altec will inspect and replace the incorrect certification label, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 8, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3294. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
