Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2022-2025 ST600 vehicles equipped with auxiliary engines. The auxiliary engine electrical circuit, including the starter and voltage regulator, may become overloaded.
Risk: Overloaded circuits may overheat and increase the risk of fire.
Remedy: Owners will be advised to turn the battery disconnect off as part of the shutdown procedure. Altec will replace the electrical circuit, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed November 21, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3257. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
