POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:PARK/NEUTRAL START INTERLOCK SWITCH
Altec industries, Inc. is recalling certain 2014-2026 AT Series Aerial Device vehicles. The transmission park interlock may be missing, allowing the aerial device to operate while the chassis is not in park.
Risk: An aerial device that operates while the vehicle is in gear or neutral can cause unexpected vehicle movement and increase the risk of injury.
Remedy: Altec will update the electrical harness and control modules, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 7, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3331. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2022-2025 AT Series, 2021-2025 AN Series Aerial Device, 2020-2026 TA Series Aerial Device, 2021 L Series Aerial Device, 2021 LR Series Aerial Device, 2023-2025 AM Series Aerial Device, and 2024-2025 AA Series Aerial Device vehicles. The ground level emergency stop (E-stop) may not stop hydraulic functions of the machine when the machine is in ePTO mode.
Risk: Hydraulic functions that do not immediately stop when the ground level E-stop is pressed, increase the risk of injury.
Remedy: Altec will inspect the units and test to verify the E-stop function. If the wiring is found to be incorrect, it will be updated, free of charge. Owner notification letters are scheduled to be mailed July 10, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3322. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING:POWER DISTRIBUTION MODULE/IPDM
Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2020 TA Series, 2019 L Series Aerial Device, 2018-2025 Service Body, LS Series, and AT Series trucks. The Power Distribution Module (PDM 10) circuit may experience a voltage spike, which can damage the Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM) and disrupt chassis functions, including the PTO switch, rearview mirror, or rearview camera.
Risk: A damaged TCCM and disrupted chassis functions can result in a loss of handling and control or brake performance, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Altec will install a diode to the ignition hot circuit, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 8, 2025. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3229. The repair is free at any franchised dealer of your brand.
