Recall 26V100 affects 39 2023-2025 Rossmonster Baja motorhomes for misrouted front brake lines. Repair is free at any franchised Rossmonster dealer.
Rossmonster is recalling 39 2023-2025 Baja motorhomes because extended stainless steel front brake lines were routed too close to the front tire. Tire contact can damage a brake line and cause a brake fluid leak, which decreases braking performance and raises crash risk; Rossmonster dealers will complete the free repair.

What's wrong?
The Carli extended stainless steel front brake lines on the 2023-2025 Rossmonster Baja motorhomes carry pressurized brake fluid to the front brakes. When the pedal is pressed, that fluid pressure helps the brake calipers clamp the pads onto the rotors. The lines also need enough clearance from the tire as the suspension and steering move.
On affected Baja motorhomes, the brake line mounting bracket was not always secured and indexed in the intended inboard position along the frame rail. If the bracket rotates or shifts, the brake line can move outward and rub against the front tire. Tire contact can wear through the line, allowing brake fluid to leak and reducing braking performance.
Owners can notice a low brake fluid level, a brake warning light, a soft or spongy pedal, longer stopping distance, visible brake fluid leakage, or abrasion marks on the brake line near the tire. If any of these signs appear, stop using the motorhome and arrange inspection and repair.

What happens at the repair
At the dealer, a Rossmonster technician inspects the front brake line routing and reroutes the lines where needed so they do not contact the front tire. The recall repair is free, including the inspection and any required routing correction. If you already paid for brake line routing, brake line replacement, brake fluid, or labor tied to this defect before the recall remedy was available, Rossmonster's reimbursement program covers documented eligible costs. Submit the paid invoice or receipt, proof of payment, VIN, contact information, and a short repair description to Rossmonster.

What should I do if my 2023-2025 Rossmonster Baja is on this recall?

Yes. Federal recall law requires the manufacturer to provide the recall remedy at no cost. Rossmonster's remedy says dealers will inspect and reroute the brake lines as necessary, free of charge.
What is the safety risk?
