What's wrong?
The panoramic sunroof side finisher trim on 2023-2026 Land Rover Range Rover and Range Rover Sport SUVs is the exterior strip that runs along the side of the roof glass. Its job is to cover and protect the roof edge while staying bonded to the body through rain, heat, washing, and highway airflow.
On affected SUVs, the trim was removed and refitted during quality rework at the assembly plant. The adhesive process used during that refit was not sufficient, so the trim is not secured as designed. Over time, airflow and vibration can loosen the piece until it partly separates or detaches from the vehicle.
There is no warning sign before failure. An owner can notice loose roof-edge trim, lifting along the panoramic roof, or a missing side finisher only after the bond has already started to let go.
Who's affected?

- Reference recall number 26V097 and Land Rover recall D095 when you call the dealer or Land Rover customer service.

What happens at the repair
Land Rover has not opened the final dealer repair yet. Once available, a Land Rover technician will inspect the panoramic sunroof side finisher trim and secure it if needed. The final dealer repair will be free, with parts and labor covered under the recall. Land Rover used its general reimbursement plan on file, so documented out-of-pocket repairs tied to this trim issue are eligible for review under that plan. Keep any repair orders and payment records for the service desk or Land Rover customer service.
