What's wrong?
The integrated park module on the 2022-2026 Ford F-150 Lightning BEV, Maverick, and Mustang Mach E is the part that completes the shift into park. Inside it, the park pawl is a metal locking piece, and the slider moves it into position so the vehicle is mechanically held after the driver selects park.
On affected vehicles, the pawl can bind against the slider instead of letting the slider return to its fully engaged park position.
