What's wrong?
The Agility Fuel Solutions CNG fuel system on the 2025 New Way Side Loader and Front Loader trucks stores compressed natural gas and feeds it to the engine under pressure. A manual cylinder valve is the shutoff point at the tank, controlling gas flow and sealing a plugged port in the valve body. That seal has to hold pressure while the truck works, idles, and refuels.
On the affected trucks, the bottom plugged port in the manual cylinder valve can develop stress corrosion cracks. The cracking starts in the valve body and can grow until the port leaks or separates. If that happens, compressed natural gas vents from the tank into the air. In the presence of an ignition source, that gas release creates a fire risk.
The warning sign is visible and audible once the leak grows. Owners or operators can notice loud hissing from the fuel system and a white plume of gas venting from the system.
Who's affected?
Covers Side Loader and Front Loader refuse trucks from the 2025 model year, both using the same Agility CNG fuel-system manual cylinder valve.

What's the safety risk?
A natural gas leak near an ignition source increases the risk of a fire. Loud hissing gas or a white plume from the system is a warning sign to stop using the vehicle, move away from ignition sources, and call the dealer. Repair is free at any franchised New Way dealer.

What happens at the repair
At the dealer, a New Way technician replaces the manual cylinder valves in the CNG fuel system. The recall repair is free, and Agility covers the valve replacement. The service desk can confirm whether the valve work has already been completed on your truck or needs to be scheduled. New Way and Agility are not offering a separate compensation plan for this campaign. Agility is handling the remaining valve replacements at its expense.
