2025 Ford Mustang, Lincoln Nautilus Recall 25V519: Lights

Recall 25V519 covers 3,270 2025 Mustang Mach E, Mustang, and Nautilus vehicles for LED driver module failure. Free repair at franchised Ford dealers.

Ford is recalling 3,270 2025 Mustang Mach E, Mustang, and Lincoln Nautilus vehicles because a burnt diode in the LED driver module can cause exterior lights to fail. Failed headlights or signals reduce visibility for the driver and other road users and increase crash risk; the dealer repair will be free once Ford makes it available.

What's wrong?

The LED Driver Module is the electronic controller inside the headlamp assembly. It meters power to the LED lighting functions so the headlight, daytime running light, front position light, and front turn signal operate correctly. In campaign 25V519, Ford says the same lighting control issue also affects rear lamps on Nautilus vehicles.

On affected 2025 Mustang Mach E, Mustang, and Nautilus vehicles, the module has a Schottky diode, a small one-way electrical component, that can burn inside the headlamp assembly. When that diode fails, the module stops powering the affected lighting functions. That can leave one headlight without low beam, high beam, daytime running light, front position light, or front turn signal. On Nautilus vehicles, the rear tail light, rear turn signal, and rear position light can fail at the same time.

Drivers will see an "Advanced Front Lighting Feature Temporarily Unavailable" warning. The turn signal indicator will also fast flash in the instrument panel cluster.

Who's affected?

Covers the Mustang Mach E, Mustang, and Nautilus, all using the same right-hand LED driver module.

What's the safety risk?

Exterior lighting failure reduces visibility for the driver and other road users and increases crash risk. Watch for the "Advanced Front Lighting Feature Temporarily Unavailable" warning or a fast flashing turn signal indicator in the instrument panel cluster. If either appears, schedule service soon and use extra caution after dark. Repair will be free at any franchised Ford dealer once available.

What should I do?

  1. Check your VIN to confirm your 2025 Ford Mustang Mach E, Mustang, or Nautilus is included in this recall.
  2. Watch for Ford's owner letter before scheduling service.
  3. Contact a franchised Ford dealer about the free exterior-lighting inspection and LED Driver Module replacement that fixes the affected lights.
  4. Bring the owner letter if you have it. If not, reference recall number 25V519 when you call.
  5. Drive with extra caution until the repair is complete, especially at night or in low visibility.

What happens at the repair

Once Ford opens the dealer repair, a Ford technician will inspect the LED Driver Modules and replace them when needed. The inspection, replacement parts, and labor will be free under the recall. If you already paid out of pocket for a related LED Driver Module or headlight repair before the recall notice, Ford's standard reimbursement plan covers documented expenses. Bring your repair paperwork and receipts to the service desk so the dealer can explain the claim process.
