2025-2026 Porsche Taycan/Panamera Recall 25V415: Strut Ring

Recall 25V415 covers 284 2025-2026 Porsche Taycan, Panamera, and Panamera 4 E-Hybrid vehicles with loose strut retaining rings. Free repair at any franchised Porsche dealer.

Porsche is recalling 284 2025-2026 Taycan, Panamera, and Panamera 4 E-Hybrid vehicles because a retaining ring on top of the suspension strut can come loose and dislodge the strut, causing air loss from the strut spring. A failed air suspension strut can reduce handling and control and raise crash risk; Porsche dealers will complete the repair free of charge.

What's wrong?

The front suspension strut on the 2025-2026 Porsche Taycan, Panamera, and Panamera 4 E-Hybrid is a structural shock absorber that helps hold the wheel in position while the air spring supports vehicle height. A retaining ring at the top of the strut is supposed to sit fully in its groove and keep the strut assembly locked in place.

On affected vehicles, small manufacturing tolerance differences around the support bearing, the upper mount area of the strut, kept the dome bearing cover from seating deep enough. That left the retaining ring short of its groove. If the ring comes loose, the strut can dislodge and the air spring can lose air, dropping that corner of the vehicle and triggering suspension faults.

You can see warning messages before the failure progresses. A yellow low-level warning appears, followed by a yellow air-suspension malfunction warning if the condition remains. If both conditions happen at the same time, the vehicle shows a red suspension malfunction warning.

Who's affected?

All listed Taycan and Panamera variants use the same front suspension strut retaining ring.

The year and model narrow the scope, but the VIN decides. Check your VIN to confirm whether your specific car is included.

What's the safety risk?

An air suspension strut failure can reduce vehicle handling and control, increasing the risk of a crash. Watch for yellow low-level or air suspension malfunction warnings; a red suspension malfunction warning means the condition has advanced. If these warnings appear, drive cautiously, avoid unnecessary trips, and schedule service soon. Repair is free at any franchised Porsche dealer.

What should I do?

  1. Check your VIN to confirm your 2025-2026 Porsche Taycan, Panamera, or Panamera 4 E-Hybrid is included in this recall.
  2. Contact a franchised Porsche dealer to schedule the free retaining-ring inspection and reinstallation that secures the front suspension strut.
  3. Bring the recall notice if Porsche mailed one. If not, reference recall number 25V415 and Porsche recall ASA6 when you call.
  4. Drive cautiously until the repair is complete, and avoid hard cornering or rough roads.

What happens at the repair

At the dealer, a Porsche technician inspects the retaining ring on top of the suspension strut and reinstalls it if it has come loose. The recall repair is free, with parts and labor covered by Porsche. Porsche is not offering a separate reimbursement program for repairs before the owner letter because the affected vehicles remain covered under the Porsche New Car Limited Warranty. If you already paid for related suspension work, ask the service desk how that warranty coverage applies to your paperwork.
