What's wrong?
The rear fuse box closing panel on the 2024 Aston Martin Valkyrie is the cover panel that closes off the fuse box area. Under that panel, the wiring harness carries electrical power and signals to vehicle systems. The panel is held in place by small Torx-head screws, and those screws must be the correct length so they do not reach the wiring below.
On affected Valkyries, screws longer than the intended 9.53 mm parts were installed in two fixing points. The longer 12.7 mm screws sit too deep and contact the wiring harness routed under the closing panel. That contact can damage the wire insulation and create an electrical short inside the fuse box.
Owners are told to watch for loss of power steering, loss of convenience functions, a burning smell, or smoke. Those are warning signs that the wiring harness has been damaged or is shorting near the rear fuse box.

The technician also checks for damage from the incorrect screw length and replaces any damaged wiring harness or related components covered by the recall. Parts and labor are free. Aston Martin uses its general reimbursement plan for owners who already paid for this repair before the recall notice. Bring dated invoices, receipts, and repair paperwork to the service desk so the dealer can route the claim.
