What's wrong?
The exhaust tip is the outlet pipe at the end of the main engine exhaust system. On these 2022-2025 Holiday Rambler motorhomes, it guides hot exhaust gases out of the coach after they leave the muffler, keeping heat and fumes away from the cabin and nearby compartments.
On affected units, the tip was welded to the exhaust pipe even though Ford's body builder instructions called for an exhaust clamp for this model-year range. The weld can break. Once it breaks, the exhaust tip detaches from the pipe, leaving exhaust and heat where the body was not designed to handle them. A properly clamped tip stays secured to the exhaust pipe.
A carbon monoxide detector alarm is a warning sign that exhaust fumes are entering the cabin. A hot, melted-liner smell from a compartment is another warning sign tied to heat damage near the exhaust outlet.

A matching year and model does not guarantee inclusion. Check your VIN to confirm whether this recall applies to your specific motorhome.
What's the safety risk?
Exhaust fumes entering the cabin increase the risk of injury or death from carbon monoxide poisoning. A detached exhaust tip also creates a road hazard and increases crash risk for other road users. Treat a carbon monoxide detector alarm or melting odor as a reason to stop using the vehicle and call the dealer. Repair is free at any franchised Holiday Rambler dealer.

What happens at the repair
At the dealer, a Holiday Rambler technician installs a clamp on the exhaust tip so the tip stays attached to the exhaust outlet. The recall repair is free, and parts and labor are covered. If you've already paid for a repair within the scope of this exhaust tip defect, REV will reimburse the cost after you present a paid receipt. Bring that receipt and any related repair paperwork to the service desk, or contact REV customer service at 1-800-509-3417.

Frequently asked questions
What is recall 25V121?
Recall 25V121 covers 2,666 2022-2025 Holiday Rambler and Fleetwood motorhomes with an engine exhaust tip that can detach. If that happens, exhaust fumes can enter the cabin, and the loose tip can become a road hazard. Dealers will install an exhaust-tip clamp for free.
What should I do if my 2022-2025 Holiday Rambler or Fleetwood motorhome is on this recall?
Check your VIN to confirm whether your specific motorhome is included in recall 25V121. If it is, contact a franchised Holiday Rambler dealer to schedule the exhaust-tip clamp installation. Reference recall number 25V121 or REV recall number 250221REV when you call.
Is the recall repair free?
Yes. Federal recall law requires the manufacturer to repair the defect at no cost, and REV says dealers will install the exhaust-tip clamp free of charge. Parts and labor are covered for included vehicles.
What is the safety risk?
The risk is carbon monoxide exposure inside the cabin and a road hazard behind the motorhome. If the exhaust tip detaches, exhaust fumes can enter the living area, increasing the risk of injury or death from carbon monoxide poisoning. A detached tip also increases crash risk for other road users.
What if I bought this motorhome used?
The free recall repair still applies. Recall coverage follows the vehicle, not the first owner. Check your VIN to confirm whether your specific Holiday Rambler or Fleetwood motorhome is included, then call a franchised Holiday Rambler dealer and reference recall 25V121.
