What's wrong?

The grey water tank support brackets on these 2021-2025 Jayco Terrain Le, Launch, Terrain, and Launch Le recreational vehicles hold the waste-water tank in place under the body. The brackets, U-channel supports, and L-bolt rods are supposed to keep that tank secure while leaving the original diesel fuel tank clear of contact.

On affected vehicles, the bracket design used slotted supports. Those slots can let the grey tank supports shift far enough to touch the fuel tank. Once metal support parts rub against the tank, normal road vibration can wear into the tank surface and create a fuel leak. Jayco traced the problem to an engineering design error, and the repair uses newly designed grey tank support brackets without slots and new support rods.

The warning sign is visual. If you inspect the fuel tank area, you can see rub marks where the grey tank supports have been touching the original fuel tank.
