What's wrong?
The recalled 2022-2025 Hino NH7A, NJ7A, NJ7B, NJ7C, NV7A, NV7B, and NV7C trucks use a front right air brake tube in the full air brake system. This nylon tube, protected by corrugated covering, carries compressed air that helps apply the brakes when the driver presses the pedal. The tube has to stay routed away from body panels so it does not rub through during normal driving.
On affected trucks, the routing design leaves the air tube close enough to the fender that assembly variation can put the parts in contact. Vibration and steering movement can let the fender wear into the tube over time. Once the tube is damaged, air can leak from the brake system and reduce brake performance.
Drivers can spot wear during a pre-trip inspection if the tube or protective covering shows rubbing damage. If an air leak has started, the driver can hear air escaping when applying the brake before brake performance drops significantly.

What's the safety risk?
A leaking brake tube can delay front brake actuation, extend stopping distance, and increase the risk of a crash. During a pre-trip inspection, look for tube wear. If you hear an air leak when applying the brakes, stop driving and call the dealer. Repair is free at any franchised Hino dealer.
What should I do?
- Check your VIN to confirm your 2022-2025 Hino NH7A, NJ7A, NJ7B, NJ7C, NV7A, NV7B, or NV7C truck is included in this recall.
- Contact a franchised Hino dealer to schedule the free air-tube inspection and repair that prevents fender contact from damaging the front right brake tube.
- Bring the owner notice if you have it, and reference recall number 25V057 when you call or arrive.
- Drive cautiously until the repair is complete. Leave extra stopping distance and avoid hard braking.
- Call Hino customer service at 1-248-699-9390 with questions about parts, scheduling, or whether your truck is already repaired.
What happens at the repair
At the dealer, a Hino technician inspects the air tube, then secures it or replaces it if needed. The recall repair is free, with parts and labor covered. If you already paid for repairs tied to this defect, Hino has a reimbursement process for documented costs. Hino says related parts, labor, and miscellaneous remedy costs are eligible for review. Recall 25V057 covers 19,026 2022-2025 Hino NH7A, NJ7A, NJ7B, NJ7C, NV7A, NV7B, and NV7C trucks. Contact with the fender can damage the front right brake tube and cause a leak. Hino dealers will inspect, secure, or replace the tube for free.
What should I do if my 2022-2025 Hino NH7A, NJ7A, NJ7B, NJ7C, NV7A, NV7B, or NV7C is on this recall?
Check your VIN to confirm your specific truck is included in recall 25V057. If it is, contact a franchised Hino dealer to schedule the inspection and repair. Reference recall number 25V057 or Hino recall AB2Q0 when you call.
Is the recall repair free?
Yes. Federal recall law requires the manufacturer to repair the defect at no cost, and Hino's remedy covers dealer inspection, securing, or replacement of the affected brake air tube free of charge at a franchised Hino dealer.
What is the safety risk?
A leaking brake tube can delay front brake actuation and extend the distance needed to stop. That increases crash risk. Confirm the recall with your VIN, then have a Hino dealer complete the free inspection and repair before relying on the truck for regular service.
When were Hino owners notified about recall 25V057?
