What's wrong?

The burner tube in the InVision Three Burner Cooktop is an aluminum gas line inside the cooktop. On affected 2025 Jayco Travel Trailer Jay Feather Micro trailers, it carries propane from the control valve to the burner so the flame lights and stays controlled during cooking.

In NHTSA campaign 25V043, the center burner tube was bent too far during manufacturing. That excessive bend fractured the aluminum tube. When the cooktop gas valve is turned on, propane can leak from the cracked tube instead of flowing only to the burner.

Owners can hear a louder than normal hissing sound or smell propane when the cooktop gas valve is on. The flame height can look lower than normal, or there can be a flash and whooshing sound when the burner is ignited. The cooktop control knob can also appear loose.

Who's affected?

The recalled part is the aluminum burner tube in the cooktop.

A matching year and model does not guarantee inclusion. Check your VIN to confirm whether your specific trailer is included.

What's the safety risk?

A propane gas leak near an ignition source increases the risk of a fire. Until the repair is complete, leave the cooktop off. Treat propane odor, louder hissing, low flame height, a flash at ignition, or a loose control knob as a reason to stop using it and call the dealer. Repair is free at any franchised Jayco Travel Trailer dealer.
