What's wrong?
The cooktop and furnace in affected 2024 Forest River Aurora and Catalina travel trailers sit close enough that a cabinet panel separates their operating spaces. That panel is supposed to isolate the cooktop burner area from furnace airflow, so the flame burns upright and away from the cabinet.
During manufacturing, the panel edges inside the cabinet were not sealed with silicone. That gap leaves a path between the furnace and the cooktop area. When the furnace is running, airflow through that unsealed area can disturb the burner and invert the cooktop flame.
