What's wrong?
The Mobileye Collision Warning System on these 2019-2024 Chevrolet trucks is a passive camera-based warning system. It watches the road ahead and gives audible and visual lane departure or collision alerts, but it does not brake, steer, change lanes, or control the truck. The T-Harness is the wiring path that connects that camera and display to the truck's electrical system.
The problem is not a defective harness. During installation, the Mobileye camera cable was routed incorrectly on affected trucks. When the dash was reinstalled, the cable was left where the dash or upper dash bolts can pinch or damage it. Damaged wiring can overload the electrical circuit and stop the warning system or related lights from working correctly.
Owners can notice hazard lights turning on when a turn signal is used, turn signals or hazard lights that stop working after the F-26 15-amp fuse fails, a Mobileye display error, or no Mobileye display. An electrical burning smell or smoke from under the left side of the dash is also a warning sign.
Who's affected?
Spans Chevrolet 6500XD and 7500XD trucks plus Isuzu Ftr and Fvr trucks from 2019-2024, all tied to the same lane departure warning T-Harness.

The year and model narrow the scope, but the VIN decides. Check your VIN to confirm whether your specific truck is included.
What's the safety risk?
Overloaded circuits can overheat and raise the risk of fire. Damaged wiring can also disable turn signals, hazard lights, or collision system functions, raising crash risk. Treat unexpected hazard-light activation, failed signals, a Mobileye error or blank display, burning smell, or smoke under the left dash as a reason to stop using the truck and call the dealer. Repair is free at any franchised Chevrolet dealer.
What should I do?
- Check your VIN to confirm your 2019-2024 Chevrolet 7500XD, 6500XD, Ftr, or Fvr is included in this recall.
- Contact your nearest franchised Chevrolet dealer to schedule the free Mobileye camera cable inspection and rerouting or replacement, which fixes wiring damage tied to the fire and crash risks.
- Bring the recall notice if Chevrolet has mailed one. If not, reference recall number 24V157 when you call.
- Ask the dealer whether the truck is safe to drive before the repair if the turn signals, hazard lights, or collision warning system are not working.
- Call Chevrolet customer service at 1-866-441-9638 with questions and reference recall number 24V157.
What happens at the repair
At the dealer, a Chevrolet technician inspects the Mobileye camera cable routing. If the cable is routed where it can be damaged, the technician reroutes it or replaces the Mobileye camera cable and T-harness. Parts and labor are covered under the recall. Isuzu says customers who already paid for this condition outside warranty coverage can be reimbursed for the repair cost. Bring the repair invoice, payment record, and any related paperwork to the service desk so the claim can be reviewed.
