What's wrong?
The T-box on the 2023 Cfmoto 450SS is the telematics and GPS navigation module. Its holder is supposed to keep that small electronic box secured to the motorcycle structure, away from the moving front steering forks. Those forks must turn freely every time the rider steers, corrects a line, or maneuvers at low speed.
On affected motorcycles, the T-box holder relies on two rubber straps. Local shear stress and normal vehicle vibration can break those rubber rings. Once the straps break, the T-box is no longer held in place and can fall down toward the front steering forks. In that position, it can interfere with fork movement and cause a loss of steering control.
There is no warning sign before failure. The owner is not told to listen for a noise, watch for a light, or expect a handling change before the T-box drops out of position.

What should I do?
- Check your VIN to confirm your 2023 Cfmoto 450SS is included in this recall.
- Contact your nearest franchised Cfmoto dealer to schedule the free T-Box holder replacement that keeps the telematics box off the front steering forks.
- Bring the recall notice if Cfmoto mailed one. If not, reference recall number 24V108 when you call.
- Limit riding until the repair is complete, because a loose T-Box can interfere with steering control.
What happens at the repair
At the dealer, a Cfmoto technician replaces the T-Box holder so the telematics box stays secured away from the front steering forks. The recall repair is free, and parts and labor are covered. Cfmoto has a general reimbursement plan on file for owners who paid out of pocket for this same repair before the recall work was completed. If that applies to you, ask the service desk or Cfmoto customer service how to submit repair paperwork under that plan.
